How does renting a caftan with AZRA work?
Choose a rental piece, your size and the date of your event, at least seven days ahead. You pay 50% when you book and the other 50% before delivery, once the atelier has confirmed the piece for your date. You keep it for four days.
Is cleaning included in the rental?
Yes. Professional cleaning is included in the rental price and is never taken from your deposit.
What is the €100 deposit for?
It is a refundable deposit added to every rental. It is returned within 48 hours after the caftan comes back and is checked. Only late-return fees and repairs can be deducted, as set out in the rental conditions.
Can I cancel a rental?
Yes, up to seven days before your rental for a full refund. After that the rental price is not refunded.
Do you deliver rentals outside Granada?
Yes, rentals are delivered to any address in Spain, and you return the caftan with the prepaid AZRA label in the parcel. In Granada you can also collect it at the atelier or have it delivered by hand. Rentals are available in Spain only.
Can I try a caftan before renting or buying?
Yes, at our atelier in Granada, Monday to Friday, by appointment. Write to us on WhatsApp at +34 687 414 981.
Which sizes are available?
Every piece comes in S, M and L. Pieces to buy can also be made to measure. Our size guide gives bust, waist and hip measurements for each size.
How does made to measure work?
Choose 'Made to measure' on the product page. You can take your measurements with our measurement tool, and the atelier contacts you after your order to confirm them before cutting. Made-to-measure pieces cannot be returned.
How long does delivery take for a purchase?
Pieces in S, M and L leave the atelier in 1 to 2 business days. Shipping options and costs for your country are shown at checkout.
Can I return a caftan I bought?
Yes, within 14 days for pieces in S, M and L, following our refund policy. Made-to-measure pieces are excluded.
Where are AZRA caftans made?
They are made by hand in Marrakech by maâlems, the master artisans, and designed in Granada.
What is the difference between a caftan and a takchita?
A caftan is a single long robe. A takchita is worn in two layers, a base dress and an over-dress, usually closed with a belt. Our journal explains it in detail.
