Zelaya, the signature takchita
Silk chiffon over satin, stones and pearls set by hand, a mdama worked in the maâlem's sfifa. Our signature takchita, to keep, or to wear for one evening.

A takchita is worn in two layers. An inner piece sits close to the body; an outer one opens over it. A belt, the mdama, holds them together at the waist. It is the dress of weddings and long evenings, and it asks for work that cannot be hurried.
Zelaya is our signature takchita.
Chiffon over satin
The outer takchita is cut in 100% silk chiffon. It is light enough to move with every step and sheer enough to let the inner piece show through. Beneath it, the inner piece is 100% satin, which gives the chiffon its depth and its pale mint colour.
Stones, pearls and sfifa
The ornament is set by hand, stone by stone and pearl by pearl, then finished with sfifa braided by the maâlem. The mdama is worked the same way, by hand, in the maâlem's sfifa. It completes the piece with a traditional, refined finish.

We change nothing about how it is made.
To keep, or for one evening
Zelaya can be bought, at €500, or rented, at €250, for a wedding or a celebration. Rental dates and conditions are agreed with the atelier before the event. Write to us and we will answer precisely.
Cut to your measurements
Zelaya comes in S, M and L, or made to measure. If you choose made to measure, you can take your measurements at home, with your phone and a tape measure, check every value, and send them with your order. The atelier confirms them with you before cutting.
